Job Title: Senior Software Developer
Location: Appleton, WI (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Contract)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

What You'll Do
Design & Develop Enterprise Software Solutions
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex business applications.
  • Apply industry best practices, development methodologies, and coding standards throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Lead software projects from requirements gathering through implementation and support.
  • Create scalable, reliable, and efficient software solutions aligned with business goals.
Drive Technical Excellence
  • Analyze software performance and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Review and enhance programming scripts, application functionality, and development processes.
  • Recommend and implement software improvements based on user needs and business requirements.
  • Ensure software documentation, validation testing, and quality standards are maintained.
Lead Collaboration & Innovation
  • Partner with development teams to ensure project consistency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Research emerging technologies and development tools to support future business initiatives.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and provide technical guidance on complex challenges.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to customize software solutions that optimize operational efficiency.
Mentor & Support Teams
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and technical mentorship to less experienced developers.

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • Associate Degree in a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • High School Diploma/GED with 12+ years of relevant experience.
Technical Expertise
  • Expert knowledge of full software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Strong SQL expertise, including creating and optimizing SQL statements.
  • Advanced proficiency with:
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • Web fonts and front-end technologies
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
    • Computer systems and hardware
    • Storage solutions
    • Backup systems
    • Operating systems
    • Development and operational tools
Professional Skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
