Job description

System Administrator (Leidos Corporate Information Security Office)

Annual salary: $70,500.00. Job type: Fullโ€‘time, onsite at our Beavercreek, OH office.

Leidosโ€™ Corporate Information Security Office, reporting through our Digital Modernization sector, is seeking a System Administrator to support various classified environments. You will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and supporting complex classified information systems, as well as ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations.

Location: Beavercreek, OH

Clearance requirements: U.S. Citizen with a current DoD Secret clearance and eligibility to be cleared for Special Access Programs (SAP); ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

What you will do:
  • Ensure programs maintain favorable standings with government regulations and maintain compliance artifacts such as vulnerability scans, STIGs, SCAP scans, and documentation.
  • Install, configure, and sustain a mixture of Windows and Red Hatโ€‘based systems.
  • Work under guidance of the Senior ISSE to accomplish timeโ€‘sensitive projects such as infrastructure buildouts, complex software installations, customer and subโ€‘contractor coordination, and endโ€‘user outreach.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree with 2โ€‘4 years of experience or equivalent relevant industryโ€‘standard certifications and experience.
  • U.S. Citizen with a current Active Secret security clearance; ability to be cleared for SAP and obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification such as CompTIA Security+.
  • Experience operating in a Windowsโ€‘based domain environment, including management of workstations, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, software installations, running predefined scripts, accessing SMB shares, remote system management, NTFS permissions, and common administration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Linuxโ€‘based distributions and willingness to complete full RHCSA training within a year.
  • Knowledge of changeโ€‘management procedures, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and maintaining compliance artifacts such as SCAP scans, STIGs, and Nessus Vulnerability reports.
Preferred Qualifications
  • RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification.
  • Experience working with virtual environments.
Pay Range

$67,600.00 โ€“ $122,200.00 per year.
