Job description

Work Arrangement:

Location: Washington, DC 

Duration: 12 month contract, with possible extension 

W-2 or 1099  

No C2C, visa transfers, or sponsorship 


The DNA Group is seeking a ServiceNow Architect for our client. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures while ensuring alignment with ITSM, ITAM, and change management needs across the organization.


Overview Requirements:

• Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives
• Develop technical architecture, data models, integrations, and workflows
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate into technical designs
• Configure and develop ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, and CSS
• Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and other protocols
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and reliability
• Ensure governance, compliance, and security standards are met
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and configuration guides
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to teams and stakeholders
• Advise leadership on technology strategy and solution feasibility


Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong experience architecting and implementing ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM, SPM)
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and related protocols
• Strong understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and enterprise design principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with structured modeling languages (e.g., UML)
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred


Required Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Related Field or Equivalent Experience: 20 years (Required)
• IT Systems Roadmap Development: 9 years (Required)
• Enterprise Architecture Experience: 9 years (Required)
• System Diagramming & Modeling (UML or similar): 9 years (Required)
• ServiceNow Modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM, SPM): 6 years (Required)
• ServiceNow Integrations (REST, SOAP, etc.): 5 years (Required)
• Architecting & Implementing Complex ServiceNow Solutions: 5 years (Required)
• ServiceNow Platform Architecture Knowledge: 5 years (Required)
• ServiceNow CTA / CIS Certifications: (Preferred)
