POSITION TITLE: General Labor Location: Del Rio, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt Hire Pay: $10.50 per hour Classification: Full-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The job responsibilities primarily involve physical labor, including moving and assembling furniture, equipment, and materials, and maintaining a clean work environment.
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Performs physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
  • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
  • Receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.
  • Assemble and maintain physical structures, using hand or power tools.
  • Able to clean the area to move furniture.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Effective interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to understand verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 55 pounds.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: The supervisor provides formal supervision. The position requires independent completion of tasks.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and outdoor environment, involving physical work.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY: This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
