Location: Jersey City, NJ/Pittsburgh, Lake Mary, FL (Onsite)

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 10-12 years of experience in development
  • Hands on experience programming with Python 3 and Django
  • Experience of automation of code deployment through the use of containers
  • Docker/Podman experience
  • Experience with RHEL Linux
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Bash
  • Hands-on experience with code reviews and release management
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Experience with CI/CD automation
  • Experience with Git

Day to Day:

  • An employer is seeking a Principal System Engineer to sit in Jersey City, NJ. Daily responsibilities will include supporting the engineering, governance and operation for a strategic platform to support IaaS offering across multiple data centers. As a System Engineer developer on this team, the candidate would use agile methodology to develop features on Python 3.x and Django web framework.
