Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated .NET API Developer / Full Stack Developer with strong academic foundation and hands-on project experience in building secure, scalable REST APIs and cloud-ready applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, React.js, TypeScript, and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate should be comfortable working across backend APIs, database design, frontend integration, automated testing, cloud deployment, and Agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, JWT authentication, validation, and secure coding practices.
• Develop API features involving authentication, authorization, refresh tokens, API keys, rate limiting, request validation, and role/scoped access control.
• Work with EF Core, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, schema design, indexing, migrations, and query optimization to support reliable and scalable application data layers.
• Build cloud-ready applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS Fargate, CloudFormation/CDK, Secrets Manager, and IAM best practices.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support local development, deployment automation, and environment setup using Docker Compose and Bash scripting.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools to automate build, test, integration, and deployment activities.
• Develop responsive frontend components using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Vite, and state management libraries.
• Write unit and integration tests using xUnit, Jest, Vitest, or equivalent frameworks to improve reliability, maintainability, and release confidence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, participate in code reviews, resolve defects, and contribute to technical documentation.
• Support data-driven application needs including Python-based data processing, API integrations, automated data pipelines, and structured data transformation.
Required Skills
• Hands-on knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST API development, JWT, API security, Fluent Validation, Zod, BCrypt, and backend development fundamentals.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, software engineering principles, API design, data structures, algorithms, and clean code practices.
• Experience with EF Core, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, database schema design, indexing, migrations, and application data modeling.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code, Docker, Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Bash scripting, and CI/CD practices.
• Frontend development experience using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Tailwind CSS, Recoil, Vite, and responsive UI development.
• Ability to work in Agile teams with strong problem-solving skills, code review participation, testing mindset, communication, and continuous learning attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
• Internship or project experience in full-stack development, API engineering, data pipelines, cloud deployment, or production-like application delivery.
• Exposure to multi-tenant API design, background services, usage analytics, rate limiting, secure token handling, and cloud cost optimization.
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent cloud/application development certification will be an added advantage.
