Position Purpose:
Licensed insurance agent needed for service opportunity for bank insurance division. This position requires a Property and Casualty license in order to provide a high level of customer service to our large insurance customer base, as well as answering questions, reviewing coverages, making appropriate policy changes, searching for opportunities to increase coverages and offer quotes for all other needs they may have. The goal is to be a trusted advisor for all customers to increase retention and grow our business.
Location: Macon, GA
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
  • Answering incoming service calls and provide service to walk-in customers.
  • Proactively make outbound calls to increase retention and opportunities.
  • Proactively find opportunities to cross sell other insurance products to create "bundles" and opportunities for other bank products.
  • Proactively call customers to collect payments, inform of rate increases, collect needed documents, support the sales team and to find opportunities to upsell and cross sell.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate PLUS incentives to find sales opportunities and for increasing retention.

Qualifications:
  1. Property and Casualty license required.
  2. Previous Allstate service experience preferred.
  3. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  4. Must present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives.
  5. High level of motivation and ability to perform work quickly and accurately.

Work Environment:
  1. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  2. Office space with desk, chair, computer, and phone will be provided.
