Job description

Executive Assistant - Valves Division

We have a rewarding opportunity for an Executive Assistant - Valves Division to join our Farris team in Brecksville, OH!

As the Executive Assistant you will provide advanced administrative and business management support to the VP-Sr. General Manager of the Valves Division and functional leaders. You will provide office administrative support, including ordering office supplies. You will maintain leader's schedule, meetings and personally attend to visitors' inquiries and actions that do not require the executive's attention. You will also provide administrative support in areas of letters, memoranda, interoffice communications, confidential reports and other company correspondence.

Location: Brecksville, OH - Onsite

Salary: $67,400.00 - $76,000.00 per year

Your Challenge:

  • Perform a variety of secretarial duties, which may be complex or confidential to include travel arrangements, travel itineraries, agendas, advances, expense reports, submission of check requests, etc.

  • Coordinate office administrative duties and tasks associated with office and operation(s) such as ordering supplies and event support.

  • Assist with and preparation of various reports to assist in data analysis and presentations for the Division's VP-GM.

  • Function as the central contact for the Division's VP-GM's meeting agendas, schedules and action notices as needed.

  • Experience in typing, phone, communication and data entry

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)

  • Skills to coordinate and plan meetings

  • Knowledge in business operations and expense and cost comparison

  • Ability to quickly adapt and be flexible in a dynamic workplace

  • Ability to effectively deal with a broad range of contacts and personalities, both internal and external

  • Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

  • Exceptional organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal guidance, solution-oriented

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Extremely thorough with a high level of attention to detail and quality
