The Eleanor Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full-time, remote position focused on providing high-quality mental health services through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health issues through comprehensive assessments, incorporating various diagnostic tools and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices, ensuring each therapy session is personalized to meet client goals.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients encountering acute mental health challenges, guiding them through distress with compassion and professionalism.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring all documentation adheres to legal and ethical requirements for safeguarding client information.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to optimize client care and create comprehensive support networks.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources, advocating for their needs and rights within the healthcare system.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and stress-related disorders. The diversity of our client base underscores the importance of a culturally competent approach to treatment, emphasizing the significance of understanding each individual’s unique background and challenges.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) is required.

  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.
