Job description

AGCO is seeking a Global MES Product Manager to help define, guide, and execute the global vision for our Manufacturing Execution Systems product line. In this role, you will partner with a focused team to shape the product strategy, translate manufacturing needs into actionable roadmap priorities, and ensure AGCO's MES solutions deliver meaningful value to manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on manufacturing experience, a strong understanding of how MES solutions are used on the shop floor, and the ability to connect operational challenges with practical product solutions. You will assess customer needs, evaluate competitive offerings, and use market insight to guide product recommendations, development, investment priorities, cost considerations, and long-term growth strategy.
This role requires frequent collaboration with internal customers, our IT organization, manufacturing teams, Engineering and other product stakeholders across global regions. You will be expected to communicate clearly, build trusted relationships, facilitate productive discussions, and use sound judgment to balance customer feedback, business priorities, and operational realities.
As the subject matter expert and super-user for AGCO's MES products, you will help establish product quality expectations, support roadmap alignment, and serve as a key voice in defining how our MES portfolio evolves to meet current and future manufacturing needs.

Your Experience and qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of MES exposure or related manufacturing systems experience. Key Problem-Solving Responsibilities
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Manufacturing Engineering Experience.
  • Align customer feedback with operational realities, business priorities, and product strategy.
  • Advocate for and defend product priorities with other Product Owners within the Agile Process.
  • Define and uphold product quality guardrails, serving as a key quality gate for customer-facing MES capabilities.
