DOE – Construction Project ManagerLocation: Aiken, SC Company: Chitina Diversified Services Department: Construction FLSA Status: Exempt | Full-TimeWage Range: $120,000-$150,000Position OverviewChitina Diversified Services is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support federal construction projects in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.The Project Manager will plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from startup through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements. This position requires a strong construction background and the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, engineers, architects, field personnel, and company leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage construction projects from startup through closeout. Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, equipment, and material requirements. Negotiate and administer vendor and subcontractor agreements. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports. Ensure permits, licenses, and other required approvals are obtained. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, quality, and contractual requirements. Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and other project documents. Identify and resolve project issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, or performance. Support client relationships and business development opportunities. Required/Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager. Federal Government, DOE, DOD, FAA, or similar project experience highly preferred. NQA-1 experience preferred. United States Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance required. Knowledge of 10 CFR 851. EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 30 experience/certification as required by contract. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, scheduling software, and construction-related applications. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Bachelor's degree in engineering, building science, construction management, or related discipline preferred; relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
