POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Afognak Diversified Services, Inc a company of Afognak Native Corporation has a full-time opportunity for a Lead Unarmed Security Officer. The Lead Unarmed Security Officer includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties. This position reports directly to the Program Manaer of Airbus.
  • Responding to a variety of calls/incidents, secures/safeguards specific scenes, perform crowd control as required.
  • Operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner, may be required to conduct flag protocols, safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed.

  • Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security applications
  • Maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies
  • Safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed
  • Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOP's
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Payrate: $23.10 Hourly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to Multi-task .
  • Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV's, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.
  • Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using G-Suites applications.
  • Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.
  • Must be able to successfully complete approximately 40 hrs. of company provided training. (Classes can be scheduled 7 days a week). Portions will be online and then practical demonstration.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Readiness Test.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include Expandable Baton, Defensive Tactics, CPR, First Aid and incident report writing.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to successfully pass the Afognak Diversified Services Inc Driver's Safety Course.
  • Must have a clean Driving Record.
  • Current Operator's permit. (Driver's License).
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Must be able to stand post for up to 4 hours without a break.
  • Must have good timekeeping skills.
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must maintain and complete all Afognak Diversified Services Inc training, practical or computer based.
