We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Pre-Press Plate Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing printing plates used in the production of secure printed materials. Your expertise will ensure that all plates meet stringent quality standards and technical specifications, supporting our mission to deliver secure, high-quality products efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate pre-press equipment to produce printing plates with precision and accuracy
  • Inspect and verify digital files for color accuracy, layout, typography, and image quality before plate creation
  • Manage color management processes to ensure consistency across print runs
  • Use graphic design skills and Adobe Creative Suite tools to prepare files for plate production
  • Conduct quality control checks on plates to identify defects or inconsistencies
  • Maintain detailed records of plate production processes and adjustments
