Job description

Administrative Support Associate
DiVal Safety Equipment – Greensboro, NC

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for credible and motivated Operations Generalist with a “whatever it takes” attitude.

Candidates must possess -

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn and develop personally and professionally

The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient Services & Quality Customer support with safety being a priority.

Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.
  • PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) handout/training on use (50 a month)
  • Radiation dosimetry swap out each month (200 plus badges)
  • Industrial hygiene letter review/signature with team members
  • Assistance with tracking industrial hygiene equipment calibration (scheduling, shipping, etc)
  • Maintenance of direct read monitors (assistance with bump testing, etc)
  • Calibrate gas detection instruments.
  • Provide customer onsite Vendor Managed Inventory replenishment of PPE products for customers as scheduled
  • Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
  • Reporting directly to Toyota Leadership in alignment with other members of the management team.
  • Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.

Skills and Requirements -

  • Ability to pass a NON D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
  • Strong organizational, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills necessary, including Word & Excel. AS400 experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred)
  • Previous administrative work preferred.
  • High school diploma / GED equivalent.
