Shift: C (6:00PM-4:30AM)
Pay: The Virginia base pay range for this position is from $22 to $27 per hour. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
Provide daily support to distribution to drive production performance in areas of safety, quality, cost, productivity and service objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Support Distribution Supervisor in facilitation of operator assignments and operator movement between tasks daily
  • Responsible for assisting with training current and new associates on PKMS system usage, Load School and Skill Block Training. Manage overtime requirements, vacation approvals and Workforce exceptions
  • Monitor and audit daily processes to improve load accuracy, load quality, safety, and pick performance. Assist distribution associates in revolving system, equipment or procedure related issues as they occur
  • Support OPEX and Team Smart initiatives for sustaining ongoing improvement. Participate in daily/weekly/monthly production, productivity and team meetings
  • Become familiar with PKMS processes as a Super User for distribution department
  • Communicate and work effectively with Distribution Team manager to identify and resolve all issues arising from distribution activities
  • Other duties as needed to support function of warehouse

Working Conditions
Maintains a high level of enthusiasm and leadership for the continuous value improvement processes with associates at all levels of the business. Associate must be a team player able to work closely with all associates in the attainment of critical business objectives. Must provide support in a continuous operating environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Previous team leader or backup sponsor experience preferred
  • Logistics, warehouse, or other distribution experience preferred
  • Must be forklift certified or be able to become forklift certified
  • Associate must be a team player that leads by example
  • Associate must be open to new process improvements/changes while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Must not be in any attendance steps while applying or while holding a Team Lead position. Any attendance steps incurred while holding this position will be reviewed by management to determine if reassignment is necessary
