What are distribution jobs?

Distribution jobs involve the process of moving goods from manufacturers or suppliers to retailers, wholesalers, or directly to customers. To address these issues, successful distribution team members use strong organizational skills, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving. Leveraging technology like inventory management systems and collaborating closely with warehouse staff and logistics partners can also help ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. Staying adaptable and open to continuous improvement is key to overcoming these day-to-day hurdles.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Distribution Manager to join our central London hub office, supporting the Revenue teams of our global portfolio.

This is a group-wide role responsible for managing Lore Group's online distribution ecosystem, ensuring optimal performance across all channels while driving both direct and indirect bookings.

You'll play a key role in developing and optimising distribution strategy, implementing new channels and technologies, and ensuring best-in-class visibility across platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia, GDS, and direct channels.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution & Channel Management

  • Manage and optimise all distribution channels (direct, OTAs, GDS) to maximise visibility and revenue
  • Ensure accurate rate and inventory management across all platforms via channel managers (e.g. SiteMinder, SynXis)
  • Maintain rate parity across third-party channels, protecting brand integrity
  • Identify and onboard new distribution partners, including managing integrations and project delivery
  • Oversee ongoing optimisation of channel performance post-activation

Systems, Tools & Operations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for distribution systems including PMS, CRS, RMS and website
  • Support troubleshooting of connectivity issues with internal teams and external partners
  • Lead system enhancements, pilots and beta projects
  • Ensure hotel content (images, descriptions, amenities) is optimised across all platforms
  • Drive best practice processes across distribution systems and tools

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor key KPIs such as occupancy, ADR and RevPAR
  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reports on channel effectiveness
  • Analyse data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies
  • Support budgeting decisions relating to distribution technology and partnerships

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Revenue, Sales, Digital and Technology teams across the group
  • Build strong relationships with hotel teams and provide ongoing training and support
  • Manage relationships with OTAs, wholesalers, consortia and loyalty programme partners
  • Travel to properties as required to support performance and implementation

About You

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong collaboration skills.

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years' experience in a distribution, channel management or revenue role within hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of the online travel ecosystem (OTAs, GDS, intermediaries)
  • Experience with hotel systems (e.g. SynXis, SiteMinder, PMS/CRS platforms)
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
  • Proven ability to manage multiple systems and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Personal Attributes

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to work independently
  • Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Curious, commercially minded and driven to improve performance
  • Aligned to Lore Group values: Family, Discovery, Detail and Spirit

    Location: London
