Job description

What Drives Success

What Drives Success

We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our winning team. If you are a highly motivated team player who is interested in an exciting career with a global leading manufacturer, then this job is for you.

As a Territory Manager, you will be the face of Duro Dyne across the Pacific Northwest territory, driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strong, long-term relationships with the distributors and contractors throughout our channel. You will be responsible for increasing sales of our products and services across this multi-state territory while managing a limited number of key or named accounts. This is a field-based role built on being in front of customers and being present in the market.

This is not a traditional outside sales position. It is a hands-on, technical sales role. Our Territory Managers spend much of their week inside sheet metal fabrication shops and mechanical contractor facilities, running live demonstrations of Duro Dyne products and machinery and delivering technical training, such as hands-on brazing sessions, to contractors, service technicians, and distributor personnel. Candidates should be comfortable lifting product, working with hand tools and torches, and demonstrating equipment in a shop environment.

Candidates should reside in the region to effectively support the assigned territory.

We are looking for someone passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, who thrives in a dynamic environment, and who is motivated by results. If you are seeking a career with a company that values performance, offers long-term stability, and fosters a supportive culture, Duro Dyne and Lennox could be the perfect fit for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Promote the full line of Duro Dyne HVAC products through every form of communication and interaction, including in-house distributor meetings, job site visits, phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Develop and grow sales with HVAC distributors and contractors, maintaining and growing existing business through share-of-wallet gains, new product sales, and prospecting of new distribution and contractor accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration across the territory.
  • Sell through our distribution channel, and deliver full product training to select distributors through the Duro Dyne Technical Institute (DDTI) and a range of field training methods.
  • Conduct hands-on product demonstrations and technical training for contractors, service technicians, and distributor personnel in shops, at job sites, and at distributor locations.
  • Work closely with distributor partners to execute sales strategies and convert business in the territory.
  • Manage territory performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Maintain direct communication with each account and advise them of their sales volume throughout the year.
  • Use the company CRM to log all sales calls, maintain the territory contact list, and keep cross-functional teams informed.
  • Maintain accurate pricing, and analyze and respond to competitive activity in the territory.
  • Represent Duro Dyne at trade shows, distributor events, contractor meetings, vendor events, industry events, and conferences.
  • Travel to cover the territory approximately 50 percent of the time, including required overnight travel, with a company car and fuel card provided.

Why Duro Dyne

You would join the recognized leader in HVAC sheet metal accessories, a company with nearly 75 years of history and the backing of Lennox International, a global HVAC leader. The role offers a defined territory, a company car and fuel card, the autonomy of a field-based seat, and the depth of training from the Duro Dyne Technical Institute behind you. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed directly as part of the conversation.
