Distribution Clerk
Valley Presbyterian Hospital
Keep Clinical Units Stocked & Operations Running Smoothly
At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our Supply Chain team plays a critical role in ensuring clinicians have the supplies they need to deliver exceptional patient care. We're seeking a detail-oriented Distribution Clerk to support inventory management, stock replenishment, and supply distribution across clinical units.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver and stock supplies to clinical units based on established par levels
  • Operate inventory systems to process receipts, issues, and charge entries
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring optimal stock levels
  • Place and track supply orders, including expediting as needed
  • Reconcile patient charges and support accounting functions
  • Generate and maintain daily, monthly, and inventory reports
  • Support inventory audits, excess stock analysis, and supply tracking
  • Maintain high fill rates and efficient inventory turnover
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to meet supply needs and resolve issues
  • Maintain organized stock areas and ensure supply availability

What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in materials management, purchasing, or supply chain
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage inventory challenges proactively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
