Who We Are
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst (Logistician) to join our Central Inventory Control Point (CICP) team located in Elkridge, MD. The Logistician controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements. They ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet objectives and ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. The Logistician builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
What You Will Do
  • Performs daily shipping and receiving activities including but not limited to routine monitoring of email and government sites for shipping notifications, performing visual inspections of equipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and inclusion of required components
  • Interacts with customers to complete order requests
  • Transports inventory to and from local destinations
  • Ensures that inventory surveys are performed in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintains automated and manual accounting records
  • Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status review
  • Maintain Travel Log
  • Schedule Facility/Equipment Maintenance and repair services
  • Maintain FedEx Shipping Log
  • Assist with inventories
  • Track shipments to final destination and resolve in ODIN
  • Assist in lifecycle management documentation
  • Assist in product integration and fit tests
  • Work with Procurement to make purchases
  • Run weekly vendor history reports
  • Maintain invoice payment status spreadsheet

What We Are Looking For
  • 3 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
  • 3 years of experience with supply chain or asset management
  • Experience with logistics lifecycle management support operations
  • Possesses working knowledge of DoD specifications and guidelines
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel long distances within CONUS approximately 10% of the time
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly

Preferred: Bonus Points For...
  • Familiarity with ODIN, DIAS, IBM Cognos, and/or OnBase software
  • Familiarity with FedEx, TMO, LOC, and DCS
  • Previous work with Special Sensors
  • Prior military logistics experience (Army MOS 92A, Air Force 2G0X1, Navy LS)
  • Aerospace industry logistics experience
  • Military equipment management or maintenance experience, i.e. signals equipment and/or Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) equipment
