Buffalo Trace Distillery is a family-owned company based in Franklin County, Kentucky, whose rich distilling tradition dates back to 1787. Buffalo Trace is a fully operational distillery producing bourbon, rye, and vodka on site, and is listed on the National Historic Register. Job Description/Responsibilities
The Role
This is a hands-on coordination role at the center of our Craft Bottling operation - and a stepping stone to supervision. You'll own the label and medallion preparation process for our Blanton's and Barrel Select lines, keeping production running smoothly by staying ahead of inventory needs, managing schedules, and supporting a small team of temporary employees.
Day to day, you can expect to:
  • Track upcoming production needs and manage component inventories
  • Prepare labels and medallions in accordance with production schedules
  • Print labels and medallions, and troubleshoot printing equipment
  • Coordinate with the Barrel Select team and brand managers on customer-specific medallions
  • Handle logistics for shipments to other sites and work closely with the distribution center
  • Create sample boxes for customers
  • Maintain accurate tracking spreadsheets
  • Provide immediate support to the production line as needed
  • Collaborate across all levels of the organization

Core hours are 2nd shift, with overtime and occasional 1st or 3rd shift coverage required based on production demands.
Qualifications/Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid planning, organizational, and analytical abilities
  • Comfort with numbers and basic mathematical applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel especially)
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • APICS or Six Sigma certification is a bonus
