We are seeking an outgoing part-time Tour Guide to join our growing team!


We are looking for positive, hospitable, dependable, and team-focused individuals with a high level of customer service understanding to tell our story to guests of the distillery. Tour Guides will be socially at ease with large groups of people, able to educate, excite and engage our guests while conducting distillery tours and product tastings. Tour Guides must also engage our guests in a retail environment, encouraging sales through education of the brand and relationship building. Training will be provided.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to present a tour narrative as well as accurately answer questions on the history and production of Middle West Spirits products.
  • Continuing the story of the brand by conducting educational and entertaining tastings.
  • Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to use the point-of-sale cash register system and handle sales transactions including cash and card transactions.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Opportunity to help plan and run special events.
Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Able to work in warm/cold climate as per distillery conditions
  • Able to work in high places with stairs
  • Able to tolerate loud noise and the smells of our functioning distillery
  • Able to work near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
  • Able to move up to 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to work with a diverse set of team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of clients

Qualified candidates must have Friday evening and Saturday availability. This position averages 8-12 hours per week.


COMPENSATION:

  • Hourly pay plus tips
