Brush Creek Distillery https://brushcreekdistillery.c...is searching for a highly ambitious, knowledgeable, fun, team-leader with exceptional hospitality skills to join our growing craft spirits operations. The Hospitality Manager will serve as a front-facing ambassador, charged with direct oversight of the distillery's gift shop, tasting room, curated guest experiences, and on & off-site events. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, inventory control, plus recruitment, training, and management of seasonal staff.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be highly effective in all aspects of interaction, planning, and coordination with internal and external partners. To be successful, they should drive to exceed expectations within our entrepreneurial environment, possess creativity, operational discipline, and a solid business acumen.

Independently owned and operated, Brush Creek Distillery is quickly becoming known for its' Craft Distillery, Blending, and Trailblazing initiatives, inspired by the American West. The team includes established industry talents who share a passion for spirits, creativity, entrepreneurial environments, immersive experiences, and all aspects of the great outdoors. Our unique homeplace is located in south-central Wyoming, on a 30,000-acre working cattle ranch that host a collection of world-renowned, luxury properties, known as Brush Creek Ranch https://www.brushcreekranch.co., in Saratoga, WY. This position will report directly to the distillery's Managing Director, and work in tandem with our operations team, finance and accounting personnel, marketing/public relations partners, and on-site farm and ranch departments. This is definitely not a 'one size fits all' role, but rather a unique opportunity to work with talented spirits and hospitality professionals in an elevated environment, while actively growing, and promoting, our American West inspired program and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn the Brush Creek Distillery brand, portfolio of award-winning spirits, and our unique industry positioning
Exhibit expertise and detailed knowledge of the distillery and its' portfolio through active involvement in all aspects of the program's operations, including warehousing, distilling, blending, packaging, sales and marketing
Promote product knowledge and customer engagement with on & off-site guest, vendors, and trade partners
Actively lead and manage retail sales, guest experiences, and marketing, and events
Support recapping metrics and sales updates to communicate success with our program
Oversee retail inventory, conduct audits, and communicate needs and/or recommendations
Assist in staff scheduling, pre-opening preparedness, mid-shift and closing practices
Serve as a brand ambassador while conducting tastings, tours, experiences, and educational seminars
Strengthen product awareness through storytelling, education and interactions to upsell retail offerings and experiences

Increase industry knowledge by working closely with management and trade partners as it relates to the three-tier system
Support management in brand-building efforts with the planning, coordination, and interaction of media & trade influencers
Assist in brand marketing initiatives related to social media, advocacy, guest engagement and trade communication

      ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

      Experience related to hospitality management, brand marketing, promotions and/or sales
      Alcohol industry experience preferred
      Passion for the spirits industry, marketing, customer engagement and brand-building
      Strong storytelling skills and ability to education and inspire up to 25+ individuals
      Effective time management and organizational skills
      Capable of providing effective input related to consumer, trade, and press events
      Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, adventure, and entrepreneurial spirit
      High-energy, enthusiasm and a good team player
      Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      Education College preferred
      Ability to relocate to Saratoga, WY
      PREREQUISITES:

      21 Years of Age or Older
      Active driver's license
      Ability to work off-property as a Distillery representative as-needed
      Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, due to the nature of the business
      Must be a resourceful, enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, team atmosphere

      Must be dependable, self-starter, loyal and honest
