Job description

As a Service Dispatch Supervisor, you will be the one our customers and dispatchers rely on to get service when they need it! You will oversee work orders to Service Technicians in response to customer requests. The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, organizing, and planning daily, weekly and monthly workload schedules and must be able to effectively coach employee's to be accountable for their daily Job responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee scheduling service calls and ensuring dispatchers provide work orders for Service Technicians according to urgency.
  • Review jobs in service monitor to ensure they are dispatched and assigned as required in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure dispatchers call customers in advance when techs are running late and or in transit.
  • Oversee that dispatchers are assigning next days' work before their shift ends.
  • Understand each technician and their skill set.
  • Review scheduled work based on technician's availability.
  • Communicate with other Dispatchers, Service Technicians and other departments.

Requirements:

  • 4 year degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years dispatch experience preferred.
  • 2 -3 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
