We are looking for a driven Operations Manager who can lead our installation department and help continue scaling our operations.
This role is for a leader who can create structure, solve problems quickly, motivate teams, and keep operations moving efficiently every day. The Operations Manager will oversee scheduling, dispatching, purchasing, inventory management, installer development, customer communication, quality control, and department profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and motivate installation teams while promoting a positive, accountable culture
• Conduct meetings, coaching, and performance reviews
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary actions
• Manage installation schedules and crew dispatching
• Ensure jobs are properly staged and crews are prepared daily
• Coordinate permits, inspections, subcontractors, and project timelines
• Maintain strong communication between sales, service, warehouse, and office teams
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding schedules and project updates
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Monitor workmanship quality and maintain high customer satisfaction standards
• Help manage labor budgets, profitability, and department performance metrics
• Track warranty expenses, callbacks, and operational efficiency
• Review installer performance, production numbers, and job costing
• Oversee inventory purchasing and warehouse organization
• Coordinate company fleet maintenance and operational readiness
• Manage and oversee both residential and commercial HVAC installation operations
• Ability to quote residential and commercial HVAC projects accurately and professionally
• Assist with sales opportunities by building customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and helping close projects
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth project turnover and customer satisfaction
• Support business growth by identifying operational improvements and revenue opportunities
