Job Summary:
The Driver Dispatcher Manager for the pharmacy is responsible for overseeing the dispatch and coordination of delivery drivers, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical products and prescription medications. This role also includes managing driver safety, vehicle maintenance, accident reporting, insurance compliance, and licensing requirements to maintain operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch and Delivery Coordination:

  • Manage the pharmacy driver dispatch team to ensure efficient routing and delivery of medications.
  • Assign delivery routes based on priority, driver availability, and patient needs.
  • Monitor driver locations and progress to quickly resolve delays or issues.

Driver and Vehicle Safety Management:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols for drivers, especially when handling controlled substances.
  • Conduct regular reviews of drivers’ licenses and certifications to ensure validity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain an updated record of all driver’s licenses, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with local and state laws.

Vehicle Maintenance and Management:
