Job description

JOB SUMMARY
 

Operates within one of the most complex, high-volume resort marketing environments in North America. This triplex resort located within the heart of Disney consists of 23 dining outlets, 6 pools, a spa, and over 500K Sq Ft of meeting and event space requiring a strategic marketing approach with custom branding, continuous content production, multi-channel distribution, and strategic alignment across both Marriott and Disney ecosystems.
 

Directs the development, production, and implementation of all marketing strategies and initiatives aligned with the property's revenue objectives and brand positioning. Partners closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Revenue Management, and Executive Committee to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that drive topline performance, RevPAR growth, and share-of-wallet expansion.
 

Works collaboratively with Marriott International, Disney Marketing, Sales, Revenue, Creative, Public Relations, and Social media teams to ensure consistent and prominent representation across all platforms, channels, and distribution systems, maximizing visibility and positioning within the broader Marriott and Walt Disney World ecosystems.
 

Leads the execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies spanning digital, unique property branding, on-property experiences, partnerships, public relations, and demand generation campaigns. Oversees all internal and external communications, ensuring brand integrity across property websites, third-party platforms, Disney channels, and social media.
 

Identies incremental revenue opportunities through strategic partnerships, tourism bureaus, and market initiatives. Regularly communicates campaign performance and strategic insights to ownership, senior leadership, and key stakeholders. Leads and develops a high-performing marketing team responsible for executing both strategic initiatives and high-volume creative production.

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major; 2 years' experience in Hospitality Sales and Marketing, or a comparable professional area.

Development of Hotel Marketing Strategy


    Develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business priorities and revenue goals.

    Serves as brand steward ensuring consistency across all messaging and platforms.

Strategic Partnerships, Distribution & External Alignment


    Serves as the primary marketing liaison with Disney Marketing, Sales, Social Media and Public Relations teams, ensuring alignment and visibility across all Disney distribution channels.
    Manages relationships with key external partners, including:
o    Walt Disney World platforms and systems
o    Visit Orlando and Visit Florida
o    PR agencies (including Bourbon Steak and Rosa Mexicana restaurant PR)
o    Social Media agency
o    Media, vendor, and creative partners
    Secures placements and visibility for group campaigns, leisure promotions, and special initiatives.
    Supports global distribution eorts including international campaigns, travel partners, and wholesale channels.

Integrated Campaigns, Communications & Digital Platforms


    Leads end-to-end campaign development including concepting, creative direction, execution, and performance analysis.
    Develops and executes strategic email marketing programs, including database management, testing, and reporting (open rates, engagement, etc.).
    Oversees content across:
o    Social media (calendar approval and copy review)
o    Property website and third-party listings
o    SwanDolphin app and mobile experiences
o    Disney Client Connect and related distribution channels
    Manages video and digital content platforms including YouTube and Vimeo.
    Supports Group campaign marketing and Passkey content updates.

Creative Production & Brand Execution (Print, Digital & On-Property)


Leads high-volume, multi-format creative development supporting all operational and revenue-driving initiatives across the resort.
Includes but is not limited to:
    Design and production of:
o    Restaurant menus, signage, and tabletop collateral
o    Holiday and seasonal campaign materials
o    Client mailers, invitations, and custom event collateral
o    Sales kits, fact sheets (multi-language), brochures, and campaign materials
    On-property signage including recreation, F&B outlets, and meeting space displays Oversight of digital signage across property, including:
o    Elevator displays, LED walls, meeting room signage, video walls, and large-scale experiential displays
o    Creative adaptation across multiple screen sizes and formats
    Management of print production and vendor coordination (e.g., 11th Hour and other partners)

Food & Beverage and On-Property Marketing Integration


    Oversees all F&B-related marketing deliverables including:
o    Disney website listings and menu updates
o    Signage, labels, packaging, and promotional materials
o    Site inspection and event collateral (placemats, can labels, vouchers, etc.)
    Ensures alignment between marketing strategy and on-property revenue experiences, enhancing guest engagement and spend.

Systems, Platforms & Marketing Operations


Manages and optimizes a wide range of marketing systems and platforms, including:
    Marriott systems (PLUS, DAC, etc.)
    Disney distribution platforms (Client Connect, listings, etc.)
    Visit Orlando / Visit Florida portals
    CRM and email platforms
    Digital tools including QR code systems, sales presentation platforms, and kiosk interfaces
    Property-wide digital signage and content platforms
    Coordination with SMPL Systems for experiential elements (music, lighting, etc.)

Photography, Video & Content Production


Leads comprehensive content production strategy to support marketing, sales, and PR initiatives.
    Directs all photography and video production including:
o    Hotel, F&B, recreation, and experiential content
o    Group meetings, FAM trips, and special events
o    HR and internal events as needed
    Oversees photo library management and asset distribution across all platforms
    Ensures consistent content refresh for Marriott channels and Disney platforms
    Manages editing, post-production, and asset optimization

Client Experience Marketing & Custom Program Development


    Designs and executes highly customized marketing materials for:
o    Site inspections and FAM trips
o    Client mailers and seasonal campaigns
o    Special events and executive-level experiences
    Develops creative concepts that elevate the luxury positioning of the resort and enhance conversion.

Marketing Strategy & Revenue Optimization


    Leads strategic initiatives focused on:
o    Demand generation and market positioning
o    Creative direction as a revenue-driving function
o    Media planning and investment optimization
o    Persuasive messaging and conversion-focused copywriting
    Identies opportunities for on-property monetization through marketing-led experiences.
 

Leadership & Team Management

Scale & Production Environment (Operational Context)


    Manages a high-volume content and production environment, including:
o    Tens of thousands of annual photography assets
o    Multi-terabyte content libraries
o    Continuous video production and editing
