Job description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a platform spanning venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The Housekeeping Crew is an on-call, per-event employee who is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Chaifetz Arena by performing various cleaning duties within the seating bowl, concourse, suites, restrooms, and locker rooms for various events.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 to $17.00

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until August 21, 2026.


Chaifetz Arena is a 10,600-seat venue sitting on the campus of Saint Louis University and is privately managed by OVG. Chaifetz Arena has served as the home venue for the SLU Billikens men's and women's basketball teams as well as hosted a diverse range of concerts, family shows, national sporting events, and much more. Audiences have enjoyed performances from Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Patti LaBelle, The Killers, Kelly Clarkson, Cirque du Soleil, Martin Lawrence, Brad Paisley, Disney On Ice, and many more critically acclaimed entertainment acts.


  • Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
  • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers.
  • Use and maintain assigned equipment and hand tools.
  • Ensures a safe environment for patrons; removes liquids and debris from walkways through the building during events. 
  • Report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance. 
  • Follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • 1-2 years of related work experience cleaning multiple facilities. 
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.  
  • Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment.  
  • Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision. 
  • Must be a team player and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are generally evening/overnight and could range from 4 hours to 12 hours.
