Job description

Summary:DecoPac is the world’s largest supplier of cake decorations, baking supplies, and edible printing systems to professional bakeries, in-store bakeries, food service operations, and cake decorators. The National Account Manager executes product sales strategies to achieve short-term and long-term business and growth opportunities. This position will be responsible for leading the day-to-day sales activities for assigned key and national accounts to make DecoPac a key business partner through execution of key business objectives.


Responsibility:
  • Develop key strategic account plans with the Sales Department to achieve or exceed target sales goals. Develop and promote both short-term and long-term growth opportunities within defined key accounts to position year over year growth.
  • Establish effective relationships and collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Design & Development, Finance, Customer Support, etc.) to address customer needs and identify opportunities.
  • Drive specification and adoption of Company technology and product components within customer, supporting final execution by understanding in store operations and consumer selling cycle.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for technology and SaaS offering that help customers improve consumer sales, in store operation, and optimize overall performance.
  • Develop and implement successful product programs and marketing execution plans to support the Company and customer goals.
  • Be a leader of a cross-functional key account support team.
  • Establish strong and effective relationships with key influencers at customers and key licensor retail teams, such as Disney and Nickelodeon.
  • Create, organize, and lead customer presentations to deliver business reviews, pursue new distribution, & optimize promotional activity.
  • Utilize insights and data to create a sales story around key initiatives.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts and initiatives, independently developing strategies and executing plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain current customer contact information, initiatives, and opportunities in CRM tool.
  • Promote a positive attitude and participate as a team player.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in business, marketing, or related field strongly preferred with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a progressive sales/marketing role; or a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in lieu of a degree year degree required. Marketing and Sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and selling into large, national grocery store chains.
  • Experience selling components that are added to a finished good.
  • Proven experience presenting ROI strategies based on technology, SaaS, or marketing programs with demonstrated success driving customer revenue growth.
  • Experience working with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • High energy, positive and self-motivated.
  • Highly motivated and resourceful professional with strong initiative and track record of achieving objectives in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to thrive in an independent, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, selling, marketing, and team building skills.
  • High aptitude for technology is a must. This position establishes customer relationships both online and in the field. Leading customer meetings via Microsoft Teams is required. The ability to construct presentations in PowerPoint and manage Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to obtain and analyze data and apply to the business.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage projects.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while moving files or small packages.
