About the Role:

The Influencer Team atOvativeGroup oversees, develops, and implements Influencer strategy workingalong-sideour client teams to create holistic strategy tailored to our clients' goals.As a DirectorofInfluenceryouwill be the driving force behind influencer capabilities from development to execution of strategy; forming partnership with Influencers to promote brand exposure across a variety of platforms to building brand awareness and introducing new customers to our client's brand.

This integral role will focus on building brand love through creator efforts, while building trust with clients and partnering with internal teams to align strategy and measure performance against KPIs.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • OwnOvative'sinfluencer channel vision and long-term roadmap for your clients, defining influencer's role withinfull-funnel, omnichannel media strategies

  • Establish strategic frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for influencer planning, casting, content development, and performance measurement

  • Ensure influencer strategies are grounded inOvative'sEnterprise Marketing Return (EMR) approach and tied directly to business outcomes

  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to client leadership, helping shape how influencer marketing drives brand growth, customer acquisition, and long-term value

  • Lead influencer strategy forOvative'smost complex and high-impact client engagements

  • Translate performance data and insights into clear executive-level storytelling and recommendations

  • Define influencer measurement standards, KPIs, and testing frameworks in partnership with measurement and analytics teams

  • Advance a test-and-learn culture,identifyinginnovation opportunities across platforms, creator types, and partnership models

  • Stay ahead of influencer trends, platform changes, and partnership opportunities, informingOvative'spoint of view and client recommendations

  • Act asOvative'ssenior influencer subject matter expert in new business pitches, capability marketing, and external thought leadership

  • Partner with growth and client teams to shape influencer positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy

  • Contibuteto building and scaling the influencer team, including org design, role definition, and hiring strategy

  • Contribute to industry POVs, case studies, and internal education that elevateOvative'sinfluencer credibility

  • Coach anddevelop team members into future leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and excellence

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Deep understanding of the Influencer ecosystem - social media channels, influencers, content, and creators

  • 10+years in an Influencer Marketing role developing and executing strategy and campaigns

  • 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams, fostering growth and excellence

  • Experience leading change and building new capabilities, including evolving processes, standards, and team ways of working in response to platform and business shifts

  • Proven, hands-on experience personally executing influencer campaigns, rather than exclusively overseeing work through agencies or vendors

  • Strong understanding of how influencer marketing connects to and enhances paid media performance, with experience integrating creators into paid social, affiliate, and commerce-driven strategies to maximize full-funnel impact

  • Proven ability to define, analyze, and interpret influencer performance metrics across the full funnel, and to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and executive-ready storytelling around impact

  • Working knowledge of influencer, social, and platform tools (i.e.creator discovery, campaign management, social listening, and reporting platforms) that enhance team workflows, speed, and consistency

Pay Transparency

AtOvative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus.Actualoffers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact.Additionalbenefits information is provided below.

For ourDirectorpositions, our compensation ranges from $123,000 to $228,000, which is inclusive of a30% bonus.
