Sr. Buyer - Direct Hire
Shift of the Sr. Buyer:
M-F 8am-5pm
Pay Rate of the Sr. Buyer: $110K - $120K
Responsibilities of the Sr. Buyer:
  • Manage supplier relationships, RFQs, negotiations, expediting, resourcing, and performance oversight.
  • Maintain all purchasing data—pricing, lead times, confirmations—within the MRP/ERP system with high accuracy.
  • Resolve supply shortages, delivery issues, engineering changes, and material disruptions quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to support manufacturing operations, inventory management, and new product introductions.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data within ERP/MRP systems, including pricing, lead times, and supplier information.
  • Analyze procurement metrics, supplier performance, and purchasing trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and supplier diversification.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve supplier scoring, accuracy, and long-term sourcing strategies.

Qualifications of the Sr. Buyer:

  • Strong computer skills (Excel, ERP systems, online purchasing platforms)
