Their role is crucial in ensuring that advertisements reach the largest and most relevant audience to achieve campaign objectives.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a drive time buyer?

To thrive as a Drive Time Buyer, you need strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and an understanding of the automotive market, typically supported by experience in automotive sales or purchasing. Job description

Job Summary:
Matium is a rapidly growing material marketplace in North America, seeking a Head of Marketplace to architect their digital marketing engine and onboarding experience. This high-impact role involves owning the buyer and seller experience from awareness to activation, leveraging AI tools and modern marketing technology to drive engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with the CEO and Head of Product to design, build, and optimize Matium’s digital marketing funnel end-to-end.
• Own the first-time buyer and seller experience—from initial awareness through account activation and first transaction.
• Deeply understand Matium’s target market and customer personas across the commodity plastics supply chain.
• Leverage AI tools and modern marketing technology to iterate rapidly, test hypotheses, and scale what works.
• Report on KPIs up the funnel: website conversion, new buyers and sellers, time-to-first-win, and ROMI.
• Collaborate with a mission-driven team to drive new buyers and new sellers onto the platform consistently.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience building and scaling digital marketing funnels for a marketplace, SaaS, or B2B platform.
• Experience in mapping user journeys and designing UX workflows for B2B users – bonus if experienced in sales/procurement activities.
• Strong analytical instincts—you think in terms of conversion rates, cohort analysis, and cost per acquisition.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted content creation, marketing automation, and growth experimentation.
• Ability to deeply understand a niche market and craft messaging that resonates with technical buyers and sellers.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of an early-stage company. You build the playbook, not follow one.
• Excellent collaboration skills—you’ll work closely with Product, Technology, and Markets teams daily.
Company:
Matium is a SaaS/Marketplace automating raw material markets. Founded in 2021, the company is headquartered in Alexandria, USA, with a team of 11-50 employees. The company is currently Early Stage.
