Buyer / Purchasing Specialist (Manufacturing)

My client is a leading musculoskeletal device company hiring a hands-on Buyer to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and AP to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and at the best value.

What you’ll do:
• Manage purchase requisitions, RFQs, and POs
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier terms
• Support vendor selection and performance management
• Expedite orders and resolve delivery/invoice issues
• Drive cost analysis and inventory optimization
• Maintain ERP data integrity

What we’re looking for:
• 1–5 years of purchasing experience (manufacturing required; medical device preferred)
• Strong negotiation skills
• ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/JDE/Dynamics a plus)
• Excel proficiency
