 Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to interior and exterior guest calls for service in a timely manner. Make repairs and/or provide service in order to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
  • Greet all guests and fellow Team Members as you see them. Speak politely and assist them as needed, making sure to answer all questions and providing appropriate directions. Respond in a courteous manner to all questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all facilities and property of the resort including but not limited to: Guest accommodations, buildings, machinery, equipment, grounds, roadways, signage, flooring, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, electronics, painting, drywall, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and masonry.
  • Operate with the property maintenance software program and properly updates essential information via the use of a smart device.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as needed on all items listed above and keep accurate records.
  • Complete maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders and/or electronic devices
  • Read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard free work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of tools, supplies and equipment.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects and/or other duties verbally and in writing
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent education is required.
  • Vocational or technical training relating to expertise preferred.
  • 2+ years of resort maintenance experience
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
  • Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Proficient in the use of electronic devices and their applications such as cell phones and/or tablets

Physical Requirements

  •  Able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, bend, and / or reach repeatedly.
  •  Able to safely lift 75 pounds and carry, pull, and push heavy objects and materials.
  •  Able to climb and work on ladders and scaffolding.
  •  Able to be on feet and moving around for entire shift.
  •  Able to perform all duties listed in this job description.
  •  Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
