Who You Are
We are looking for a highly organized,proactive, and results-drivenProjectManager with a proven ability toexecutetechnical efforts across the entire project lifecycle.Youareabletobreak down complex projects into actionable tasks, ensuring teams stay on track and meet deadlines. Strong leadership,attention to detail, andcommunicationskills are essential, as this role requires coordinating cross-functional teams tomeetcustomer expectations on-timeand on-budget.

The right person for this role has at leasttwoyears of experience inproject management, and ademonstratedtrack recordofinitiating, executing, delivering, and closing projects. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating the complexities of federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS). Youcan alsounderstand a customer's needs andcommunicate them effectively to the technical team toensure customer success. Most importantly, you are driven by the challenge of growing a company, excited to work in a small, agile team, and eager to make a tangible impact on the company's success.

WhatYou'll Do
Communication

• Communicate regularly with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals
• Be the primary point of contact for customer engagement
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional project teams

Execution & Delivery

• Manage scope, schedule, & cost through agile and hybrid practices
• Lead milestone reviews and status updates with external stakeholders

• Track progress,identifyrisks, and implement mitigation strategies

• Translate customer requirements into actionable implementation plans

• Ensuredeliverables meetcontract requirements, businessobjectives, andquality assurancestandards

• Draft subcontractor statements of work (SOWs) and oversee their execution

• Discern, capture,prioritize,communicate,and updateproduct requirements, such asuse case descriptions anduser stories, for example

• Empower engineering teams by making customer intent and priorities transparent, supporting autonomy and accountability for technical outcomes

• Manage project & labor budgetstoachievecustomer priorities and project needs

• Facilitate agile re-prioritization with customers to ensure project work reflects current priorities

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Business Administration, CS, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum2years of experience planning, managing, and executingprojects

• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, provide regular updates, and address concerns promptly

• Strong communicationskills to lead meetings, including demonstrations, requirements discovery sessions and retrospectives

• Strongunderstanding of project management methodologies (e.g.Agile) andknowledge areas (e.g.,Scope Management, Stakeholder Management) and theability to apply them to plan, execute, andmonitorprojects effectively

• Experience with tools such asJira and GitLab

• Demonstratedability toidentify, assess, and mitigate risks

Additional desirable experience

• Domainexpertisein A&D
• Familiarity with U.S. space domain acquisition and operations

• Background or familiarity with software solutions inA&D

• PMP or other project management certification

• Experience working in small businesses or startups
  
• 1 or more years' experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in software development
• Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes (e.g., DoD/DoW, NRO, NASA)
• Active or currentTop Secretsecurity clearancewith SCI eligibility
