Job Description

The Strategic Solutions Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing high-impact initiatives that support the launch, growth, expansion, and continuous improvement of complex Treasury Management solutions and related client onboarding processes. This role serves as a critical liaison between Product Management, Treasury Sales, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Client Onboarding teams to deliver strategic solutions that enhance the client experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.

The Strategic Solutions Project Manager manages cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client needs. The role requires strong project leadership, process improvement expertise, treasury management knowledge, and the ability to drive organizational change across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership

- Lead enterprise and business-line initiatives supporting the introduction, enhancement, and expansion of complex Treasury Management products and services.

- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and communication plans to ensure successful project delivery.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute initiatives on schedule and within scope.

- Facilitate project governance meetings and provide executive-level updates on project health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.

- Identify opportunities to accelerate growth through product enhancements, process optimization, strategic partnerships, and technology integrations.

Treasury Management Solution Development

- Support the implementation and expansion of complex Treasury Management solutions, including payables, receivables, healthcare, and international payment capabilities.

- Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to define solution requirements and implementation strategies.

- Evaluate operational impacts and develop scalable onboarding and servicing models for new products and enhancements.

- Collaborate with sales and client-facing teams to understand client needs and translate them into actionable project requirements.

Client Onboarding Process Improvement

- Lead initiatives focused on improving onboarding effectiveness, efficiency, capacity, and client experience.

- Map current-state and future-state processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation.

- Develop and implement standardized onboarding procedures, workflows, and best practices.

- Partner with operational leaders to drive process consistency across teams.

- Measure and report on key onboarding performance metrics, including cycle times, quality, client satisfaction, and productivity.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

- Serve as the primary point of coordination between business, technology, operations, risk, legal, compliance, and vendor partners.

- Build strong partnerships with senior leaders and influence decisions across multiple business functions.

- Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and issue resolution.

- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and strategy discussions to align priorities and drive project outcomes.

Change Management and Implementation

- Develop implementation plans to support successful adoption of new products, services, and operating models.

- Coordinate training, documentation, communications, and readiness activities.

- Ensure operational teams are prepared to support new capabilities and processes.

- Monitor post-implementation performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Risk Management and Governance

- Identify project risks, interdependencies, and compliance considerations early in the project lifecycle.

- Ensure initiatives align with regulatory requirements, operational controls, and enterprise governance standards.

- Escalate issues appropriately and drive timely resolution.

- Maintain project documentation, business requirements, decision logs, and implementation artifacts.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in project management activities

- Strong organizational and analytical skills including strategic thinking, influential skills, problem solving, and risk assessment experience

Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00
