ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fundraising Coordinator leads all fundraising efforts for World Relief Tri-Cities, overseeing the development and execution of the fundraising calendar, grant identification and scheduling, and fundraising events. This role works closely with the Office Director, partner churches, and local businesses to build relationships and secure the resources needed to sustain and grow the organization's programs.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This role provides specialized administrative and coordination support within fundraising and development.
  • Fundraising and Development Coordinators assist with donor or funder communications, helping ensure fundraising processes and timelines are executed effectively.
  • Lead the annual fundraising plan, including campaigns, events, and donor engagement activities.
  • Identify, track, and coordinate grant opportunities, timelines, and submissions
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, partner churches, and local businesses
  • Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, sponsorship outreach, and follow-up.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
  • At least two years of experience in fundraising, grants administration, or nonprofit development support
  • Strong organizational and writing skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
