Job description
Project Manager to oversee relief efforts for disaster victims. This individual will be responsible for case management, coordinating with various stakeholders, and developing rebuild plans to support affected families in restoring their homes and lives.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead disaster recovery projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
- Conduct assessments of clients' disaster-affected homes and establish relationships with victims to understand their needs and develop an individualized recovery plan.
- Develop and implement case management strategies to assist individuals and families in navigating recovery resources.
- Coordinate with our partner organization Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders to ensure funds are properly utilized in compliance with contractual requirements to complete home recovery plans for approved clients.
- Create and manage project budgets, timelines, and reports to track progress and outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including victims, volunteers, contractors, and funders.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recovery programs, adjusting as needed to enhance service delivery.
- Provide support to volunteers and partner staff involved in disaster recovery efforts.
- Advocate for victims' needs and represent their interests in planning and recovery discussions.
- Other duties as assigned.
