The Role

As a member of the Support & Safeguarding Team, you'll work with children and families who require longer-term support, intervention, and protection.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Public Law cases
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with children and families to create sustainable change
  • Undertaking assessments, care planning, and direct interventions to safeguard children
  • Working closely with partner agencies to deliver effective multi-agency support
  • Contributing to court work and statutory processes where required
  • Supporting children to remain safely within their families wherever possible

You'll need:

Social Work England registration
A recognised Social Work qualification
Completion of ASYE
Experience within Children's Social Care, safeguarding, or family support services
Strong assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills
A commitment to high-quality, child-centred practice
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
