Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Chief Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operations Oversight: Manage receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory and cycle counts, maintain 99%+ stock accuracy.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate warehouse staff to maximize floor efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA compliance, maintain equipment (e.g., forklifts), and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
  • Budgeting & Reporting: Manage operational costs, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular statistics for upper management.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation, layout improvements, and workflow enhancements.

Requirements

  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Implementing and overseeing security operations.
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Ensuring the safety of staff.

  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all personnel.
  • May require heavy lifting.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, safe work area, and perform other work as directed.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Other Competencies:

  • Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive
  • Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong experience with warehouse management systems

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position 50%
  • Frequently, will move about inside the office and warehouse
  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery
  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly in warehouse environment

Mental Demands:

  • Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks
  • Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be able to receive and analyze information
  • Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
