Disability Determination Remote jobs involve evaluating medical and vocational information to determine whether individuals qualify for disability benefits, typically on behalf of government agencies like the Social Security Administration. These positions are performed remotely, meaning employees can work from home or another location outside of a traditional office. Workers in these roles review documentation, communicate with applicants and healthcare providers, and make recommendations or decisions regarding disability claims. A background in healthcare, social work, or case management is often preferred, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
