Role Purpose Statement

The Equipment and Sanitation supervisor is responsible for and oversees the equipment deliveries to all other departments. They make sure all the equipment is being washed correctly and in a timely manner. They cover sick calls and entering corrections in Etime for missed punches. Ensure the staging area never fills up with outbound food/glass carts or clean equipment racks. Checking and log the machine temps to ensure the machines are hitting the right temperature every 2 hours. Understand how the machines operate enough to troubleshoot and fix small problems. Make sure that all the inbound dirty carts are cleaned in the order they are received so no dirty equipment sits for a few days in carts. 

 The ideal candidate will have schedule flexibility, be a self-starter and a quick learner with basic computer skills.  Someone that can recognize and address a problem before it turns into something much bigger. Has good communication skills. Able to give direction. Able to ensure process target times/deliveries times are being met. 

Main Accountabilities

Supervisor Responsibility

  • •    Lead and organize a high-performing team to ensure on-time and accurate production
    •    Run daily huddles to keep everyone focused and energized
    •    Maintain safety, sanitation, and food quality compliance with regulatory agencies (FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP)
    •    Optimize staffing and schedules to hit productivity and cost goals
    •    Manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and sanitation programs to ensure efficiency
    •    Implement innovative solutions to improve workflow and reduce waste
    •    Ensure every flight is catered accurately and on schedule
    •    Jump in on special projects and company initiatives to make an impact
    •    Motivate, coach, and develop your team while living our company values
    Leadership
    1.    Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies
    2.    Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)
    3.    Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
    4.    Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•    3-5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced food production or related environment
•    Expertise in sanitation regulations, food safety standards, and equipment management
•    Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
•    Experience with Microsoft Office and production management systems
•    Experience leading teams and managing schedules in a manufacturing or distribution setting with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset.
•    Ability to manage competing priorities and lead under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
