Linwood Mining and Minerals Corporation is a proven leader in the limestone industry. Linwood is currently seeking self-motivated, reliable and safety-oriented applicants for our Mine Production Trainee roleย in our Quarry Operations.

Ourย Mine Production Trainees are responsible for helping to keep the quarry operations running smoothly by ensuring proper clean-up and flow of production through both physical and machine-driven work.ย  This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training provided โ€“ no previous experience required!

What makes you successful in this position?

  • Enjoyment of manual, physical work, and being outdoors.ย 
  • Comfortable using basic tools, such as a shovel, but are also willing to learn how to operate equipment such as a skidsteer, loader, or haul truck.
  • A team player mentality and having the desire to be a part of a successful, hard-working team.
  • Flexibility, as no two days will be the same.

This is a 1st shift position that works Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3pm each day, with the option for overtime.ย  Pay starts at $22.00/hour+, based on experience.ย  All candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid drivers license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
