Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up tufting machines according to production specifications, including yarn threading, needle bar adjustments, and pattern changes.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure machines operate efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Collaborate with operators to ensure proper machine operation and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of setups, maintenance, and production changes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist in training new technicians or operators as needed.
  • Perform blade changes, needle changes, etc.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Follow all safety guidelines.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and production goals are met.
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, quality, or productivity issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements Skills & Qualifications:
  • Capable of quickly identifying and addressing issues in the tufting process.
  • Works well in a team environment and communicates effectively with other team members.
  • At least one-year previous experience in textile manufacturing or tufting processes preferred.
