What Do Directors Do?
A director is a low-level executive in a company or organization that is responsible for a particular project, region, or division. A director of a company is employed to manage the day-to-day business activities of a group or division within an organization. There are different types of directors, but they are all tasked with leading others and meeting the goals of the organization. Directors plan, execute and manage to reach a goal. For example, the sales director would oversee the sales for a particular product or area. An HR director would be tasked with screening applicants and hiring the right candidates, making sure to comply with all employment laws and settling any personnel issues.

As an Operational Director, you play a crucial role in the restaurant's overall success by overseeing essential facets of the business that drive food safety, quality, and profitability. This dynamic position allows you to shape the guest experience and operational efficiency, with the flexibility to focus on areas such as marketing, front-of-house, or back-of-house operations, depending on the restaurant's needs. We are looking for individuals who:
- Are committed to delivering excellent service and quality.
- Are adaptable and open to focusing on various aspects of restaurant operations, including marketing, front of house, and kitchen management.
- Show a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development for themselves and their team.

At Chick-fil-A, being an Operational Director is more than just a job; it's an opportunity for personal and professional growth.
About the Company:
Chick-fil-A, Inc., Founder S. Truett Cathy started the business in 1946, when he and his brother, Ben, opened an Atlanta diner known as The Dwarf Grill (later renamed The Dwarf House). Through the years, that restaurant prospered and led Cathy to further the success of his business. In 1967, Cathy founded and opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta's Greenbriar Shopping Center. Today, Chick-fil-A has the highest same-store sales and is the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States based on annual system-wide sales. Today, Chick-fil-A is America's #1 fast food restaurant.
Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.
