Director of Operations
Reports To: VP of Operations
Location: New Castle County, Delaware
We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee multiple restaurants and operations units while driving operational excellence, profitability, and team development. This leadership role will directly support General Managers, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and help execute the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of restaurants and operations units.
Supervise and support General Managers and management teams.
Monitor scheduling, inventory, ordering, labor, and overall operational performance.
Conduct regular restaurant walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, coaching, and developing management talent.
Partner with unit leaders to achieve sales, labor, COGS, and profitability goals.
Collaborate with executive leadership on budgets, forecasts, and operational initiatives.
Address guest concerns and provide hands-on operational support as needed.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience.
Multi-unit management experience preferred.
Some kitchen experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, budgeting, labor management, and inventory control.
Experience with Microsoft Office and restaurant management platforms such as R365, Toast POS, Wisetail, People Matter or similar systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and support operations during peak business periods including nights, holidays and weekends.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
