Job description

The Manager of Imaging is responsible for the day-to-day operations and performance of General X-ray, Ultrasound, OR Radiologic Technologists, Nuclear Medicine, and the Breast Center. This leader ensures the consistent delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic services while upholding full compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards. Working in partnership with the Imaging Director, the Manager drives departmental goals at the site level by optimizing workflows, supporting best-practice standards, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Manager provides direct leadership to technologists and support staff across assigned modalities, with oversight of scheduling and workforce management, competency development, budget performance, operational efficiency, and ongoing regulatory readiness. Serving as a liaison between imaging teams and physicians, surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other clinical partners, this role ensures effective coordination and a seamless, patient-centered care experience.

In addition to operational excellence, this position plays a vital role in employee engagement and development-mentoring staff, supporting ongoing education, and promoting professional growth opportunities. The Imaging Manager consistently models CentraCare's mission, values, and high reliability practices in daily operations, strengthening imaging services as an integrated and trusted partner in improving health for the patients and communities we proudly serve.

Schedule: 

  • Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
  • Day Shift | Monday - Friday
     

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay starting at $106,184.00 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
    • Pay range: $106,184.00-$159265.60 per year

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical radiology patient care, and 3+ years in a management position
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) OR Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN)
  • Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred
