Fee Schedule & Configuration Specialist

Revenue Cycle Management | Remote

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Fee Schedule & Configuration Specialist to join our fast-growing dental partnership network's ("DPN") Revenue Cycle team.

At Guardian Dentistry Partners, we support a network of 168+ thriving practices across 11.5 states. As one of the Fastest Growing Dental Groups (No. 384 on the 2024 Inc. 5000), we're proud of the culture we've built-rooted in integrity, collaboration, and purpose-where we help our practices flourish while delivering exceptional care to their communities. While we bring together passionate, purpose-driven dental entrepreneurs who share core values, we celebrate the unique differences among our partners that strengthen us and allow us to make a lasting impact.

As we continue our transition to Denticon, our standard Practice Management System (PMS), we are seeking a skilled Fee Schedule & Configuration Specialist to support our Revenue Cycle operations. This role is responsible for the accurate setup and ongoing maintenance of fee schedules and procedure codes across 168+ dental practices within Denticon, and plays a critical part in optimizing revenue cycle performance and ensuring consistency across our growing network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain fee schedules in Denticon for new and existing practices, including insurance (PPO, DMO/HMO, Medicaid) and UCR/out-of-network schedules.
  • Set up and maintain non-ADA procedure codes and internal tracking codes used across the GDP network within Denticon.
  • Audit fee schedule and procedure code configurations for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and apply corrections in coordination with the Revenue Cycle team.
  • Process fee schedule update requests from practices and regional operations teams, applying appropriate approval workflows based on established thresholds.
  • Maintain organized records of fee schedule versions, configuration changes, and request documentation for audit and accountability purposes.
  • Support Denticon conversion go-lives by completing fee schedule and procedure code configuration prior to launch and validating setup post-conversion.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Manager and Denticon process lead on configuration standards and system improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and refining internal documentation and SOPs for fee schedule and procedure code processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc configuration requests from practice staff and regional teams in a timely, accurate, and scope-appropriate manner.

Our Ideal Candidate Comes With

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in dental billing, revenue cycle, or practice management-preferably within a multi-practice or DSO environment.
  • Working knowledge of ADA CDT codes and dental fee schedule structures (PPO, DMO/HMO, UCR, Medicaid).
  • Proficiency in Denticon or another cloud-based dental PMS is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills-required. Candidate must be comfortable building and formatting multi-tab workbooks, using functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IFERROR, SUMIFS, etc.), and preparing files for system import.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) and an openness to incorporating them into day-to-day workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data entry and configuration work.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of requests independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting turnaround expectations.
  • Clear, professional written communication skills-comfortable documenting decisions and corresponding with practice staff and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, multi-location environment with evolving priorities.

Extra Points If You Have

  • Experience working within a DSO or multi-site dental organization.
  • Hands-on experience with Denticon fee schedule or procedure code setup.
  • Familiarity with non-ADA or custom procedure code structures used in DSO environments.
  • Certified Dental Coder (CDC) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting PMS implementations or data migration projects.

What's Waiting For You

  • Competitive health, dental, vision, long-term and short-term disability, and life insurance plans
  • Salary Range of $40-$55K
  • Participation in a 401(k) plan with a company match
  • Remote workforce model
  • The opportunity to engage in a values-based organization where all 2,000+ (and growing) team members strive to exemplify our core values every day
