Job description

Highly analytical individual that is driven by the creation of strong processes . They will manage DMS purchase orders, repair orders, shipping records, and all internal and external communications. This role will be responsible for managing an Operations team along with owning and continuing to improve operational processes. Support for MRO and specifically F117 will be a focus.

This position is based in Atlanta and will report to the Director - Warehouse Operations. 

Primary functions include but are not limited to:

  • Set work scope priority for all orders, and control receiving backlog
  • Manage Operations team members on the Receiving, Quality & Shipping teams.
  • Create and report metrics for labor utilization, capacity & performance
  • Monitor all DMS inbound and outbound orders
  • Control processes & training to support operations in accordance with QMS.
  • Collaborate with business leaders across Delta and DMS for all order activity.
  • Knowledgeable and oversight of all SAP warehouse, sales, and inventory transactions for DMS.
  • Work with transportation providers and freight forwarders on pick-ups and deliveries for critical orders.
  • Control & manage inventory movements of DMS owned & consigned inventory
  • Manage team to perform cycle count of DMS owned & consigned material.
