Job Summary
IONNA is building the most reliable, driver-centric, and design-forward charging network in North America - and the Brand team is where that promise comes to life. We're looking for a highly creative, versatile Associate Brand Designer to help shape one of the most distinctive brands in the EV charging space. As a hands-on member of the Brand team, you'll work to the creative direction and design system set by the Sr. Brand Manager to produce high-quality design across digital, print, physical sites, and events - everything from vector graphics and campaign collateral to environmental branding, motion content, and short-form video. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, constantly scaling environment, produces to brief and to the brand standard, and is genuinely excited to help bring a bold, retro-modern brand to life at the forefront of the EV revolution.
Mission
  • Produce high-quality, on-brand creative assets to earn and maintain the loyalty of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Brand & Marketing Collateral: Develop social graphics, posters, presentations, internal communications, and print materials that embody IONNA's brand identity.
  • Digital Brand Assets: Create email templates, social and web / landing-page graphics, and campaign visuals for digital channels. (Visual assets for digital channels - product UX, app interfaces, and charger HMI design sit with the Sr. Manager, Digital Experiences.)
  • Event & Environmental Design: Deliver signage, decals, booth graphics, swag, and physical branding for IONNA sites and events.
  • Motion & Video: Produce and edit motion graphics and short-form video for social, campaigns, and events as needed.
  • Versioning & Adaptation: Adapt approved designs into multiple formats and layouts across campaigns and channels, building toward reusable templates.
  • Production Partnership: As IONNA's outsourced production studio comes online, collaborate on briefs, reviews, and integration of outsourced content to the brand standard.
  • Workflow & Collaboration: Use the team's project and brand asset management tools to manage tasks, track progress, and communicate priorities; produce against the Sr. Brand Manager's creative direction and design system.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • On-Time Delivery: % of creative requests delivered within agreed turnaround timelines.
  • First-Pass Approval Rate: % of assets approved with minimal revisions and aligned to brand standards.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction (if instrumented): Average requester rating on completed work, captured at request close.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering high-quality design across digital, print, and physical environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of brand systems and the ability to apply them consistently across channels.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, constantly scaling environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graphic design for imagery, periodicals and marketing / sales assets (Adobe Suite or equivalent)
  • Motion graphics and short-form video skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent).
  • Experience producing content with or directing external studios, agencies, or vendors.
  • Experience across both digital design and physical / environmental branding.
  • Familiarity with design-system and templating workflows.
