The Role
Our client is seeking a Telecommunication Technician to analyze complex local and wide area network systems. You will plan, design, and configure operating systems for virtualized and containerized environments while resolving interoperability issues across host and guest nodes. This role involves configuring cloud servers and networking hardware from vendors like Cisco and Juniper, supporting hardware acquisitions, and providing technical leadership to junior staff.
What You'll Bring
Experience: 8 years of experience providing technical support for the engineering and testing of complex software and hardware systems.
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Kubernetes, VMWare, QEMU, KVM, Docker, and Linux/OpenStack.
Networking Expertise: Strong background in Cisco or Juniper networking equipment, telephony, and software-defined networking.
Certifications: CCNA or RHCSA preferred.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required. We are not able to upgrade clearances or accept CCAs. Please note, you must have the required clearance for consideration; under-cleared applicants will not receive a response.
