Position Summary...The (USA) Director, Technology Operations leads the strategic planning and execution of large-scale technology programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency. This role oversees financial management, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring to deliver measurable value. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. By integrating technology strategies with organizational goals, the Director drives innovation, optimizes resource allocation, and fosters continuous improvement to support Walmart’s evolving business needs and long-term success.
About the team:
The Fraud Strategy Solutions Team within Enterprise Consumer Fraud Risk at Walmart leads initiatives to safeguard customers and the business by proactively addressing fraud throughout the customer lifecycle. Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Compliance partners, the team develops advanced AI-driven solutions that balance trust, growth, and efficiency. With a focus on strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology strategy, the team delivers innovative solutions aligned with global fraud prevention goals.   • Connect Fraud Strategy Solutions to cross enterprise business partners including B2B, W+, Marketplace and International
  • Support robust fraud controls in all businesses to ensure risk management is balanced with customer experience
  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure financial efficiency and ROI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define program scope, performance baselines, and integrated implementation plans.
  • Influence cross-functional teams through clear communication, consensus building, and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and scenario planning to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices and optimizing operational processes.
  • Provide technology insights to align initiatives with evolving business and market trends.


What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in program and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Proven ability to define and implement large-scale organizational programs aligned with business strategies and objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to build consensus and drive collaborative decision-making.
